The group reviewed a 1998 driveway permit condition requiring a minimum 12-inch culvert to prevent water runoff onto the roadway. Road Agent Chris Kinville offered to assist with grading within the town right-of-way near the driveway. Tremblay stated his work schedule prevents him from addressing the culvert installation until after winter. The parties agreed to revisit this matter in the spring. The Select Board, Road Agent Chris Kinville, and property owners John and Michelle Roth held a site visit regarding roadside trees and a Clark Road culvert. It was agreed to monitor four Purple Robe locust trees planted near the road and review their status in spring. For drainage issues, the group established a Scope of Work. The Roths will remove the rock wall section around the culvert. The Road Agent will extend the culvert pipe eight feet onto the Roths' property, grade the area, provide fill, and remove asphalt strip. The Town pays for this work to improve drainage, safety, and snowplowing access. Afterward, the Roths will rebuild the rock wall. The Road Agent will evaluate installing reflective delineators. The Town retains responsibility for culvert maintenance, while the Roths maintain their wall. Work is scheduled for later this fall, weather permitting.
