Lynne proposed a record reorganization plan, including creating a purchase spreadsheet and digitizing maps, which was unanimously approved. A new deed form to include location details and interment rights was discussed but not voted on. The Trustees unanimously approved removing the deteriorating wooden post and rail fence at Sawyer Hill Cemetery. Lynne will continue addressing the unresolved monthly uniform charge. The recent public hearing on proposed Cemetery Ordinance changes received no objections, and they await the signed document from the Select Board. The Select Board approved $266,173 in lease purchase financing for equipment and a related truck lease agreement. They granted tax exempt status to Cardigan Fish & Game and approved Halloween hours for October 31 from 5-7 PM. The Board authorized $8,600 from the town contingency fund for cemetery tree removal.
Corey Clark of NH Dept. of Environmental Services presented the Goose Pond dam project timeline, with pond draining starting October 1st and new gates installed by mid-December. The Mascoma Valley Preservation Alliance proposed purchasing the town's Freight Shed for $10,000, pending a parking review by the town administrator.
Town Administrator Jack Wozmak reported on bridge projects: Potato Road ($3.4 million, 2027), Grist Mill Hill ($6 million, 2028), and Transfer Station ($3 million, 2029). The town will hold a property sale auction on October 24 at 10 AM. Jeremy Thibeau began as the new fire chief.

Status was denied for New England Forestry Society, Canaan 4H Organization, and Listen Corporation. The Mt. Cardigan Fish & Game Club status was tabled. A $900 tree removal project at the Museum was approved 3-0. Water system modernization plans total $214,031 (WWTP) and $107,332.60 (treatment plant). Hazardous waste disposal cost $30,000. No parking signage for race routes was approved. The Williams Field project trust holds $9,000. The next meeting is September 15, 2026.

SPEAKER_1 moved to accept minutes, seconded and passed. Seven town properties will be auctioned October 24 at 10 AM. Goose Pond Dam gates will be replaced; $250,000 is withheld until completion. Drawdown begins October 1, work starts November 1, lasting 7-10 weeks. Generators: water plant operational; depot pumping station and wastewater plant need replacement; $3,800 approved for police station generator repair. Potato Patch Bridge design reimbursement of $321,000 is expected; design cost $80k (20% town share). New fire chief Jeremy Tibbets started. Water line flushing and hydrant testing is underway. Septic tank pumping will be contracted starting this fall.
