The SAU 87 School Board met on August 3, 2026. Agenda adjustments added policy DEAG for expedited review and removed Personnel Report 25 due to incomplete paperwork. Policy EEAG, regarding private student transportation, was expedited and approved. This addresses funding issues at Boynton Middle School by clarifying that when the district does not provide transport, it is the parent's responsibility. The Mascenic Regional School District Board met June 15th. The board approved the minutes from June 3rd and noted the next potential meeting is July 20th. Mr. Tim Samaro resigned from the board. Financial reports anticipated a fund balance of approximately $1.2 million. Revenues were estimated to exceed targets by about $500,000, partly due to capital reserve reimbursements and a lawsuit settlement. The board approved a contract for dyslexia support coaching with the Reading Foundation New Hampshire, capped at $20,000 for professional development plus $75 per hour for direct services. The board also approved an alternative life skills transition program required by the Department of Education. A policy regarding the administration of federal grant funds, including a $15,000 spending threshold, was approved following its first reading. The Masonic Regional School Board held a meeting on June 3, 2026.
