The Barrington Trails Committee met on September 8, 2026. Members approved the minutes from the August 11th meeting. Updates were provided regarding the August 15th Walkabout on the Barrington Trail, with a follow-up Walkabout scheduled for September 19. The committee discussed no parking sign sources and new signs for Peach Orchard Trail and Cedar View Trail, noting the NH Big Tree county champion on Peach Orchard Trail. Work includes clearing trees on the Cemetery Trail and marking a route to the Black Gum Trail. The committee will change the date of the October Walkabout and discussed trails connecting Carriage Run to the Oyster River and Brasen Hill Farm. Future trail work includes constructing a trail from Rudolph’s Run to a cellar hole on Tibbetts Road, installing a Do Not Enter sign on the Goodwill Trail near Ross Road, and adding blazes and a "Santa ->" sign on the Santa Claus Trail. SPEAKER_1 called the Barrington Trails Committee meeting to order on August 11th, 2026. The committee approved the minutes from the July 14th meeting. Regarding old business, the committee discussed updates from the July 18th Walkabout on Kids of the River trails and work on the Barrington Trail. They noted the 25th Anniversary Walk scheduled for August 15th and reminded members of the Apple Picking event on September 20th. The committee addressed the need for "No Parking" signs at trail head parking areas. A work session was set to install the Peach Orchard Trail sign and use a weed whacker on the trail. Items for posting on the Ross Rd kiosk were reviewed. Among new business, the committee planned to clear downed trees on the Cemetery Trail and mark a route to continue it to the Black Gum Tr. They will work with the Barrington Snowgoers to remove trees from the pond area on Tibbetts Rd and discussed using Google Drive. The next meeting is scheduled for September 8th before the meeting adjourned.

The committee discussed items for the Ross Rd kiosk and scheduled a work session for the Barrington Trail starting from the BYA ballfields. New business included an inquiry from NEMBA concerning mountain biking trails in Barrington and scheduling apple picking at DeMerritt Hill Orchard for September 20. No votes or specific dollar amounts were recorded. The next meeting is set for August 11, and the meeting adjourned under Chairman Charles Tatham.

The Barrington Trails Committee met on June 9, 2026. They approved the minutes from the May 12th meeting. Updates included the May 16th Walkabout, a planned June 20th Walkabout, completion of blazing on the Calef Trail, and a trail and bridge connecting Coyote Lane to the Adalamiskwid Trail. The committee will prepare a list of items for the Ross Road kiosk. New business proposed a trail connecting the Adalamiskwid Trail to the snowmobile trail on the Goodwill Conservation Area. They plan to prepare the Barrington Trail for the 25th Anniversary hike on August 15 and will use temporary stakes to mark parts of Jeb’s Jaunt and the new trail near Ross Road. A sign for the Peach Orchard Trail was discussed. The next meeting is scheduled for July 14.
