SPEAKER_1 called the Barrington Trails Committee meeting to order on August 11th, 2026. The committee approved the minutes from the July 14th meeting. Regarding old business, the committee discussed updates from the July 18th Walkabout on Kids of the River trails and work on the Barrington Trail. They noted the 25th Anniversary Walk scheduled for August 15th and reminded members of the Apple Picking event on September 20th. The committee addressed the need for "No Parking" signs at trail head parking areas. A work session was set to install the Peach Orchard Trail sign and use a weed whacker on the trail. Items for posting on the Ross Rd kiosk were reviewed. Among new business, the committee planned to clear downed trees on the Cemetery Trail and mark a route to continue it to the Black Gum Tr. They will work with the Barrington Snowgoers to remove trees from the pond area on Tibbetts Rd and discussed using Google Drive.
