The Albany Select Board addressed Sandwich's restriction of beach access for Ferncroft residents. Although no written agreement exists, the board agreed SPEAKER_13 will draft a formal letter requesting a face-to-face meeting with the Sandwich Select Board and Road Agent. The board will also investigate a potential alternative arrangement with Tamworth before that meeting.
Regarding maintenance, SPEAKER_1 offered to paint the storage room for significantly less than the $1,200 quoted, estimating a few hours of work. For the town hall roof leak, SPEAKER_15 moved to approve the $6,500 repair to lift metal and install ice shield, contingent on available funds. The motion was approved. Additionally, SPEAKER_2 will contact the Sheriff's Department regarding a condemned property.

The Albany Conservation Commission met September 1, 2026. SPEAKER_4 moved and SPEAKER_2 seconded to approve the June 2, 2026 minutes; the motion passed. SPEAKER_4 will email Elisa and Sandy regarding missing maps. The commission tentatively scheduled a boundary line work day for the weekend of October 24th to address a section on Bald Hill Road near a clear-cut area. Regarding the Agricultural Management Plan, Cindy Sellers approved proposed changes but requested updating the title and dates to Amended June/July 2026. The commission will place the final vote on this document at the next meeting. SPEAKER_6 reported that a trail loop is walkable with 400 hours of machine work completed, including bridges and corners. SPEAKER_6 is maintaining a volunteer hour spreadsheet for grants. The meeting adjourned following a vote.

The Board approved Town Administrator A. Haynes to attend NHMA training on September 2, 2026, working from home that day. Regarding a complaint at 16 Bear Dr., the Town Administrator was directed to contact the Health Inspector and Sheriff's Department for an inspection. The next meeting is set for September 9, 2026, at 4:30 p.m.
