The Selectmen approved minutes for the prior meeting 3-0. They approved manifests totaling $195,153.34, a Fidium service contract, a PILOT request for Tin Mountain Conservation Center, and a federal forest reimbursement application. A Commercial Building Permit for 1780 White Mountain Highway, M6, L113 was approved. The consent file passed 3-0 excluding Article G. Article G, a Residential Building Permit for 24 Ridge View Drive, M7, L110, passed 2-0-1 with Selectman Drouin abstaining. A Driveway Permit for High Street was approved. The Board approved Town Administrator A. Haynes to attend NHMA training on September 2, 2026, working from home that day. Regarding a complaint at 16 Bear Dr., the Town Administrator was directed to contact the Health Inspector and Sheriff's Department for an inspection. Call to Order: The Chairman called the meeting to order at 4:31pm. In Attendance: Chairman K. Robitaille, Selectman R. Hiland, Selectman J. Drouin and Town Administrator A. Haynes. 2. Pledge of Allegiance: The Chair led the meeting in the Pledge. 3. New Business: A. Approval of Selectmen’s Meeting Minutes for the August 12, 2026 Selectman’s Meeting. Selectman Hiland made a motion to approve the August 12, 2026 Selectman’s Meeting Minutes as presented. Selectman Drouin seconded. Motion passed 3-0. B. Approval of August 26, 2026 Consent File __Review & Sign manifest(s) in the amount of $10,132.31, $182,211.62 and $2,809.41 this includes an accounts payable and payroll manifests for August 18, 2026 and August 25,2026. C. Review, approve/deny and sign Service Contract with Fidium. D. Review, approve/deny and sign request for Payment In Lieu of Taxes (PILOT) for Tin Mountain Conservation Center. E. Review and sign Application for Reimbursement to Towns and Cities in which Federal Forest Land is Situated form. F. Selectman Drouin abstained as Article G was for a Building Permit for his property. J. Town Administrator’s Report: A. Discuss upcoming Election on September 8, 2026 from 11:00am — 7:00pm and the Selectman requirements. The Board reviewed and discussed the Selectman requirements and schedule for the Election on September 8, 2026. B. Approve or deny NHMA’s Right-to-know Law: Public Meetings and Governmental Records training for the Town Administrator on September 2, 2026. Selectman Hiland made a motion to approve the training course for the Town Administrator and for her to work from home that day (Wednesday, September 2, 2026) to avoid distractions during the virtual training. Discuss 16 Bear Dr. The BOS reviewed and discussed the complaint in regards to 16 Bear Dr. Selectman Hiland made a motion for the Town Administrator to contact the Albany Health Inspector and Carroll County Sheriff's Department to conduct an inspection of the property.
