The Planning Board scheduled the next meeting for October 6th at 7:00 pm. The Board discussed the 2027 budget and LLA and Subdivision Fees related to Tax Map Updates. The Floodplain Ordinance is ready for a public hearing. Work session items included C-PACER Program and Site Plan Review for Large Scale Construction. Tabled business includes reviewing Subdivision Regulations regarding stormwater and lot numbering, streamlining the PRD process, and updating Road Standards. The Marsh Antique Automotive Restoration Facility remodel permit remains tabled. For the Master Plan, a quote for binding copies is expected in Fall 2026, and Open Space updates are planned for 2027. Upcoming training includes the NHOPD "Built to Belong" conference on September 15th and an RSA 79-E overview webinar on September 17th. The NHMA Annual Conference is set for October 28-29.

The Temple Planning Board approved August 18, 2026 minutes and adopted updated Board Rules of Procedure. Christine Robidoux was appointed as a full member for this meeting. Regarding Andrew Johnson’s conceptual consultation for a minor subdivision, the board recommended a perc test as the next step after noting flood hazard area designations and the lack of a provision for nonconforming lots. Randy Martin recused himself during this discussion.
Ken Caisse will follow up with Carole Singelais regarding old tax maps on the town website, and Keith Charlton will address confusion with email distribution lists. The board tableled decisions on LLA and Subdivision Fees, C-PACER, and Site Plan Review. The Floodplain Ordinance Draft is ready for a public hearing this fall. The Select Board approved a building permit for a Schubert deck (Willard moved, Lennartz seconded, unanimous) and authorized accepting a donated Boise sound system ($2,000 from the 250th committee, $200 from the fire department, total value over $5,000). The Board also approved creating a reservation form for the sound system (both motions unanimous). The Board voted to waive the fee for the Harvest Festival, scheduling setup for September 26 and the event for September 27 (Lennartz moved, Willard seconded, unanimous). The Board signed a modified MAST Grant Letter and a supplemental PA-7 for cuttings on North/Putnam Road.
Caisse will attend the Marsh Hearing on October 8, 2026. The next Select Board meeting was rescheduled to Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Regarding Skladany Lane, a one-acre purchase by Schubert was discussed but requires town meeting approval and a survey. A complaint about arsenic and lead runoff at Barry Orchards was forwarded to legal counsel. A Moran Road poultry farm complaint prompted a request for documentation.
