The Select Board authorized a CDBG grant application for up to $1,000,000 to acquire and renovate 10 Vose Farm Road for Catholic Charities New Hampshire to create 32 affordable housing units. The board adopted the Residential Anti-Displacement and Relocation Assistance Plan and the Housing and Community Development Plan.
The board approved delaying the downtown "parklet" visioning project while prioritizing safety engineering for the Summer, Depot, and Main Street intersection, using existing Downtown TIF funds. "Pocket Street" was named as a private roadway for a 14-unit development.
Financial decisions included expending $31,216.76 from the Fire Department Capital Reserve Fund to repair Tanker 1, selecting a 24-month fixed-rate electricity contract with Constellation, and approving $8,500 in Highway Safety Grant funds. The Select Board and Budget Committee reviewed FY26 budgets for the IT/GIS, Recreation, and Library departments. No formal votes were taken. PEG TV station upgrades, including new cameras and Zoom capabilities, will be funded by franchise fees, not taxes. The Select Board approved several appropriations and appointments. Chief Scott Guinard was authorized to execute the Miller State Park Patrol Contract. The Utility Rate Task Force will hold its first meeting after July 7.

The Select Board opened a public hearing and unanimously accepted a $3,700 donation from the Steven Crowe Foundation for a batting cage. They also accepted a $6,899 donation from New Hampshire Ball Bearings for two speed limit display signs on Route 202. The Board formed a Water and Sewer Rate Task Force, with Ms. Tucker as liaison, to address necessary rate increases for infrastructure costs. Minutes from May 5 were approved. Expenditures authorized included $62,950 from the Greater Downtown TIF for storm water work, $40,620 from the Recreation Capital Reserve for an Adams Playground basketball court, and $5,000 from the Adams Pool Capital Reserve for SCADA system integration. Regarding the uninhabitable property at 2 Nichols Road, the Board voted to file a court complaint to compel demolition. Finally, the Town Administrator was authorized to negotiate a temporary police services contract with Hancock.
