The Langdon Heritage Commission (LHC) reviewed finances showing a Sept 1 balance of $8,286.90 and $359.02 spent on 2026 calendars, which are now on sale for $10.00. The LCHIP Annual Inspection must be submitted before year-end to avoid grant repayment. A motion by Cliff Oster, seconded by Mike Sweeney, passed unanimously to hire Sam Moore for $1,500.00 to conduct a collection survey in November 2025. Andrea Cheeney will serve as the new Chairwoman, replacing Dennis McClary, who becomes a Commissioner. Larry Harper resigned; a thank you note will be sent. Dennis will contact Dan Waterman about water testing, and Andrea will ask the Langdon Sewing Group to donate restroom curtains. Roof fundraising and recruiting new members are slated for discussion at the next meeting on January 8, 2026.

A $359.02 reimbursement was paid to Laura Rheume for Langdon 2026 calendars, which are available for $10.00 each. Andrea Cheeney replaces Dennis McClary as Chair, while McClary becomes a Commissioner. Larry Harper resigned. Andrea will monitor weekly humidity and contact the Sewing Group regarding restroom curtains and a sink skirt. Dennis McClary will contact Dan Waterman to inspect the water softener. Andrea will follow up on the new email address. LCHIP must be submitted by year-end. The 2026 Moose Plate grant Intent to Apply requires attention to deadlines. Meeting House roof fundraising and recruiting will be discussed at the January 2026 meeting. The next meeting is January 8, 2026, at 7 pm.
