at the Selectman's office, 1526 Main Street in Pittsburgh.
Please submit bids in the sealed envelope mark for winter
bids, winter sand bids, no email bids will be accepted.
The winning bid will need the road agent's approval of quality of the sand.
The winning bid will also have to deliver the sand by the seven of
of August 2026, the town reserves the right to reject any and all bids received.

That's for the 1,500 yards, three-quarters screen, sand, delivered by the 7th of August.

So she's ready to be built on in a few days.

use the bathrooms, they go in there and looking at it, there's not much in there
other than books that people could swap out.
So I saw these, oh about three weeks ago, at a store down in Colbrook,
and they had stacked this high.
And I went in there, probably three more times since I'm a stack still this high.
So I asked them today, I said, these are free.
The maps themselves were free.
And I said, do you guys, I notice these aren't moving, do you mind if I take one?
And they said, by all means take all you want.
So I took a stack.
I'm going to put these in the information booth.
It's not a trail map, but it does show stuff that's available, fishing spots,
spots, kayak and scenic outlets and whatnot.
So we'll at least have that and they have people to grab.
So that's a good thing.
And maybe we can get ATG map sometime in a map and a frame that we can put on the wall.

to donate anything they had to be put in there.

very busy. As you know, I got a price in. The can rental is going up. It's been $145, I believe it is, for a long, long time for the, like the CD cans.
That price is going up to $195, and when we do the work there, the wall up there, we're looking to have a second can, so it'll be an additional $195.
I'll end up budgeting for that in the budget, but that's what it's going to cost us. But I can also
say that now that the pressure gauge is working properly, we've got the pressure is correct.
We've been paying $4.50 a load for a fuel surcharge. And some of those loads have been going out between six and eight time.
Well, the guys this week, the one that went out was 13.4, and that's the way it should be running. So I've got to go over with this shift change on Thursday and make sure they know how I want it done.
but we'll be saving more than that $200 because he'll be, you know, instead of doing two trips to one, it's going to save a lot of money on that.
So, but they're really busy and they've been doing a good job.
Everything's cleaned up.
And, you know, it's still, there were a couple issues just this week that I saw that, you know, people coming in and not having stickers, not knowing not putting things where they belong, not knowing where they go, not separate.
Someone tried dumping a bunch of stuff. They were told to go back and see the guy in the shack because they never stopped so he could tell how much it was. He told him how much it was and they turned around and left.
So, and then they went out the wrong way. So I would think that they are from around here. They weren't familiar with the transfer station, but they gladly drove pretty fast right by the booth to go up to time.
to get rid of stuff quick, it seemed like.
So the easiest way to cure that problem is, you know, I said it before, and it's something I think we do come next April,
is increase the transfer sticker, and we got to do something about the businesses,
than commercial businesses in town when they're bringing stuff in, because the Airbnbs are really, really admet on the trash there.
And a lot of the stuff's not separated, therefore we're going to continue to separate.
So it does, most people's the same thing.

I want to work a little more on the agreement with Clarksville, because we want that done before budget season for them as well.
