We'll start.
We weren't here last week because we were
in the process of
bringing our sewer pumps and pump stations back in working order.
We installed two new pumps, including the piping, the wiring, and a new float system
controlled devices at Mill Street pump house.
On the same day, we installed a rebuilt pump at the Bacon Bridge,
which ended up both pumps.
up both pumps failed. One had failed a day of two before that we had figured out.
And the pump that was working failed that morning after we've used it and later in the morning it failed.
And we had rebuilt a pump at baking at the Murphy Dam for that station.
And so we were able to at least get that station up and running.
up and running without having any catastrophe of over flooded base down there.
We sent out the yearly consumer confidence reports and we installed the new service line
and shut off valves at 19 Bank Lake Road yesterday.
We did the sanitation survey DES came up and inspected, basically inspected the water plant plant on.
on Friday, Thursday morning. We did that with no issues, no defects. We got that
yesterday, right? Yesterday. So there was no defects on that.
I kind of covered everything else for the time in.

The nice thing about the three phase is they work is more torque, it'll last longer.
We would want to understand we were very lucky to get the pump that lasted 40 plus years.
40 plus years. The lifespan on them is 10 to 15. Of course, anything can happen.
Lifesan on the 3-phase with the BFD is 20 to 25.
So that station down there, they're suggesting to replace them both.
Replacing both with three-phase. So that would be a three-phase brought in?
No. It would be a three-phase pump, but it will run off what we have there.
there, then you use the BFDs to convert it and it gives you more torque and will last longer.

Because those are grinder pumps down there.
So when you get rags or anything else in there, it grinds up everything before it sends it back.
So you're going to have more torque and it'll be less at to have to have a lot of.
less apt to have any blockage or like one when we think is blocked. That's why it stopped working. It was it was drawing 159 inch and it's supposed to draw 39.
He's good for grants. All hands on deck.
Look around and see what I plan to poke around and see what's helped. We just got a list.
The last, yeah, we got a list with the class that we're at. We have a list of potential grants or all sorts of different.
or also it's a different infrastructure.
So it's something to look at.
So part of the, I don't want to say, it's not an issue,
but part of the build of those pump, sewer pumps,
is that they have a foot valve at the bottom or a location
and the pump slides down because they're put in with a frame.
They slide down and they fit into this foot valve.
Each manufacturer,
manufacturer, many manufacturers, their own foot valves. So you can't use somebody else's and connect it to there. You need to put in the foot valve and typing in to replace it. And that's part of the issue.
We were lucky enough, but the pump that we had rebuilt actually came from down there the last time.
We had issues with them and the pump was still able to be rebuilt. It wasn't cheap, but it was half the price of the number.
Yeah, so it was probably the 1981 pump.
they got rebuilt and that's the one that's still that.

One thing that I neglected to mention, we have had for probably almost a year.
We have had for probably almost a year when we lose power down at the Murphy Dam site, the two pumps
don't automatically come on when the power comes back on.
And I've been going down and turn them.
turn them manually back on and then turning them off and it's fixed.
The situation's fixed.
A couple of times Wayne's gone down in the yellow lights.
It was blinking because the tanks are full.
And I either didn't, either I wasn't here or I didn't know that the power had lost the power.
Anyway, on Thursday when the electrician was down at,
putting the wiring in for there, I had asked him if he would look, excuse me, at that panel
and try and figure out what was wrong and what was creating that problem.
And he spent about 15 minutes to half an hour to an hour down there.
And there is a override switch for when the pumps get hot, that shuts off,
it shuts off and then you push that button and then they come back on apparently that button does not work anymore and somehow I'm lost but somehow it doesn't come back on and that was what was the issue supposedly but because we haven't lost power since that Thursday we did use any down in town the other day we lost it north of here

It can go to email, it can go to text, it can go to a phone call, and it can go to everyone in this room's email.

And the first three years monitoring are free, and after that's 11 bucks a month.
Something to consider, but that would be budgeting.
budgeting the next year, but they're like $2,300 for install for each control panel to add that on, which is pretty reasonable, I think, to be able to know what's going on at all times.
We would need four of them because we put one in each pump station.
I also had a look at the control panel that I was concerned about in the water plant, and he said this, he didn't
feel that it was that bad, but he did make a suggestion that if we had someone or he could potentially do it, cut the door out around the panel that we use inside there because we only use that one thing.
So you're not open to all the other fuses and everything else.
You just cut it out and seal it off somehow around that square.
But that's all he recommended it.
He really would have to do that panel.
