9_17_26 Wellness Committee Meeting Minutes.pdf

The Wellness Committee decided the 2026-27 school year focus will be physical activity. Action items require school wellness committees to complete the America’s Healthiest Readiness Tool by October 15th, with Sarah Skoglund following up with members. Schools must upload wellness activities to the committee GoogleDrive portfolio on an ongoing basis. Skoglund will investigate grants to support a potential movement block or circuit at the Middle School. Members discussed partnering with Tilton Rec Department, creating a wellness newsletter, and introducing guest appearances during high school movement blocks. Upcoming meetings are scheduled for January 7, 2027, March 25, 2027, and May 20, 2027. No budget items, votes, or appointments were recorded.
