The Board approved July 1, 2026 minutes. Construction finished $20,693.27 under budget at $1,181,824.73. The Board agreed to purchase a new air conditioner condensing unit for the office area. Terry Murphy will install fire alarm covers and follow up on kitchen equipment and the steam table. Mark Coulson will create a list of regular vendors. Derry Riddle will follow up on playground inspection items. Turner Group provided the dryer venting design to BPS for an estimate. Tonia recommended keeping old cafeteria tables at the Wescott building for the Community Thanksgiving event. A new parking lot sign will be considered at the next meeting. Custodians will install window weatherstripping after testing. Primex inspected the playground on July 7. The 2025 Audit is expected by September. The next meeting is September 2 at 10 AM. Meeting Minutes 
August 5, 2026 
Bridgewater Town Offices 
 
Board Members Present: Mark Coulson, Terry Murphy, Derry Riddle 
Others in attendance: Rich James 
 
The meeting began at 10:05 AM. 
 
Terry made a motion to approve the July 1, 2026, minutes as written. Mark seconded and the 
motion was approved. 
 
Construction updates: 
• The Fire Marshal has been communicating with Doug Proctor from Turner Group. We are 
still waiting to hear from them. 
• Budget status: The original estimate including the change orders was $1,202,518. The 
actual cost came in at $1,181,824.73 representing $20,693.27 under budget. 
• Placards/signage are paid for but still need to be installed. 
• The exit ramp is done. 
• The new exterior door still needs to be keyed to the master key. 
 
Maintenance updates: 
• We still need to purchase a few spare windows. 
• Some of the fire alarm covers still need to be installed. Terry will take care of this. 
• The tree limbing is done, and fencing has been worked on, although some fencing still 
needs repair. 
• Terry plans to test some weatherstripping on the windows and then have the custodians 
install it. 
• The painting is ongoing. The cafeteria and hallways are complete. Tonia has asked that 
the main bathrooms, the library, front offices, and the four to five classrooms not yet 
painted be done over breaks this year and/or next summer. 
• The clocks are working. 
• The door fobs are in process. 
• Avidex has been installing the intercom/speaker upgrades. 
• Mark offered to make a list of the vendors we use regularly at the school, their 
responsibilities, and contact info. 
• The paving and striping are done. 
• The brick walkways have been repaired. 
• The summer custodial projects are going well. 
• We should follow-up on the removal of the remaining paper waste at the Wescott 
property. 
 
Turner Group’s design for the dryer venting has been given to BPS. They will get back to us with 
an estimate for the project. We will wait to install the eye wash units until after the washer and 
dryer plans are finalized. 
 
Regarding the furniture, we are waiting on the lab tables for the middle school and the cafeteria 
tables. Tonia recommended keeping the old cafeteria tables at the Wescott building for use at

the Community Thanksgiving event. There is some older furniture we can donate, but she is 
waiting for the teachers to return to see what more we may want to keep. 
 
A new sign for the entrance of the parking lot will be considered at our next meeting. 
 
Terry will follow-up on the kitchen equipment and steam table. 
 
The air conditioner condensing unit that provides AC to the office area is malfunctioning. The 
board agreed to purchase a new unit since it is over 25 years old. 
 
The playground was inspected by Primex on July 7. Tonia forwarded the audit report to our 
board. Terry will contact Merrills to take care of the surfacing material installation and raking as 
well as the pruning of the branches. Derry will follow-up on the other items. 
 
The group reviewed and signed the manifests and a vendor form. 
 
The Profit & Loss statement was reviewed. Our financial status continues to be good. We 
should have the approved final 2025 Audit by September. 
 
Our next board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 2, at 10 AM. 
 
The meeting adjourned at 11:10 AM on motion by Derry, seconded by Mark.
