The Selectmen met on September 1, 2026. They approved the agenda, minutes from August 18, 2026, and the manifest. Discussion topics included updates on MADTV and the Dam Committee, and a helicopter landing on Burke Field scheduled for September 5, 2026. Fidium copper phone service is scheduled for decommissioning at the end of October 2026. SLAM intends to apply for NHDES Section 319 grants for the town. The Administrator’s list covered a Snow Removal Policy review, DPW Wage Placement, and an initial review of IT Services RFP proposals. An additional request for an auction on tax-deeded properties was noted. Signature items included the manifest, payroll and accounts payable checks, and the Dam Project Plans Contract.
