The Alexandria Planning Board met July 15, 2026. Members Bryan Richardson, Doug Sirotnak, Brian Reed, and Selectmen’s Representative Brian Lewis were present. Brian R. moved and Brian L. seconded to approve June 17, 2026 minutes; all voted in favor. The Conservation Commission reported naming the Morrison Road property "Hemlock Town Forest." They also inquired about notification as abutters regarding the Bog Road subdivision public hearing held May 20. It was explained abutter letters go to the property owner on record, the Town of Alexandria, and it was suggested the commission arrange notifications through the Town Office. ALEXANDRIA PLANNING BOARD 47 Washburn Road Phone 603-744-8986 Alexandria, NH 03222 Fax 603-744-9461 MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. CALL TO ORDER Vice-Chairman Bryan Richardson called the meeting to order at 6:13 pm. Also present were members Doug Sirotnak, Brian Reed, and Selectmen’s Representative Brian Lewis. A quorum was present. MINUTES June 17, 2026 Brian R. made a motion to accept the minutes as written; Brian L. seconded. All were in favor; none opposed. NEW BUSINESS There was no new business. COMMITTEE REPORTS CONSERVATION COMMISSION Doug reported that Conservation Commission has decided to name the property at Morrison Road Hemlock Town Forest. He also mentioned that the Conservation Commission was inquiring as to why they weren’t notified as abutters to the property on Bog Road that had a public hearing for a subdivision application at the May 20th Planning Board meeting. It was mentioned that the abutter letters go to the property owner on record, which is the Town of Alexandria. It was suggested that the Conservation Commission set up some steps to have the Town Office notify them when such abutter letters are received. ADJOURNMENT Brian R. made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:23 pm; Brian L. seconded. The next Planning Board meeting will be held Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at 6:00 pm.
