Valerie Tarbell, Kathryn Carpentier, and Lisa Kellar met to process voter registration updates. A motion by Valerie Tarbell, seconded by Kathryn Carpentier, approved 395 changes to the Voter Alpha List. This included adding 15 voters new to New Hampshire and 13 transferring to Alton. Updates for 4 voters with name, address, or party changes were approved. Removals occurred for 1 voter registering elsewhere in New Hampshire and 4 deceased voters. The largest category removed 355 voters through Annual Verification, with 3 voters reregistered via this process. An updated Alpha List was printed and posted at the Town Clerk's Office. Applications
The following applications for registration as a voter were considered by the Supervisors
of the Checklist. Except where noted otherwise, the applications were approved by a
majority vote of the Supervisors (Registrars). A checkmark is placed beside the name of
any applicant who appeared in person at the meeting. A line is drawn through the name of
any applicant whose application was either denied or held for consideration at a future
meeting of the Board.
A motion was made by Valerie Tarbell to accept the following 395 changes to the Voter
Alpha List, the motion was seconded by Kathryn Carpentier and all were approved by the
attending supervisors. See attached detailed sheets

checklist, where people present opposing evidence, enter a brief description of the
evidence received here. If any member of the Board of Supervisors chooses to recuse
himself or herself because of a conflict of interest that Supervisors’ non participation must
be noted here. (Recusal would be appropriate, provided there will be two members of the
Board remaining, where the applicant/voter whose application/removal is being contested
is a family/household member or business partner of the Supervisor, or if some other
conflict of interest exists.)
