The Groveton Conservation Committee met on September 17, 2026, with Brian Newton, Gordon Gray, and Clint Bramlett in attendance. Brian moved to approve April 16, 2026 minutes; all approved. Gordon presented a $43,000 grant from the NH Charitable Foundation, raising the Conservation Fund balance to $48,187.57 from a starting $5,185.00. Clint moved to purchase checks for $30; unanimously approved. The group approved a sign design for the Lawrence Benoit Memorial by Nancy Gray. Gordon moved to have Clint update member contact info; all agreed. Regarding the Northumberland Community Trail, Jesse Everleth will add landscape mat and 4-6 inches of ledge pack. The viewing deck location was tabled for more members. The meeting adjourned; the next meeting is October 15, 2026, at 6:00 PM. Groveton Conservation Committee September 17,2026 Meeting Minutes In attendance: Brian Newton, Gordon Gray, Clint Bramlett Gordon called the meeting to order at 6:02PM, Brian made a motion to approve the minutes from April 16,2026,seconded by Gordon, all in favor. Gordon passed around a copy of the grant we received from the NH Charitable Foundation. Gordon updated the progress on the Northumberland Community Trail. Jesse Everleth is ready to add landscape mat on the trail and then cover with 4-6 inches of ledge pack, Discussion on where we are going to put the viewing deck area, decided to wait until we have more members present, Beginning balance of the Conservation Fund was $5,185.00, After depositing $43,000.00 from the NH Charitable Fund, the new balance is $48,187.57. Clint made a motion to purchase a book of checks for the Conservation Fund for $30.00, seconded by Gordon, all in favor. Brian made a motion to approve the sign design for the Lawrence Benoit Memorial provided by Nancy Gray, seconded by Clint, all in favor. Gordon made a motion to have Clint update the contact info on all members, seconded by Brian, all in Favor. Gordon made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Clint, all in favor.
