Selectmen's Meeting Minutes
The Selectmen unanimously approved two Intents to Cut: one for Hall on Map 2, Lots 53-1 and 53-2, and another for Bagley Pond Corp on Map 4, Lots 4 and 6. The board determined a separate agreement wasn't required for logging road protection per RSA 231:21-a,ii and RSA 231:11. Representative Riche Colcombe provided a draft roll call form for the upcoming HB113 OHRV public hearing. Ms. Rose stated SWRPC is proceeding with PFAS testing on the Brooks Property at no cost to the town. The board conducted ongoing business including correspondence, 2026 project planning, and check signing. Selectman Needham moved to adjourn at 5:50 p.m., a motion seconded and passed without dissent. Gerald Needham, Selectman called the meeting to order at 5:05 p.m. Other Board Selectmen present were Rene Boyer, Selectman. Gentry Rose and Kenneth Matthews were also present. Chair, Darlene Cuddy was absent. 2. Consent Agenda (action) – Two Intents to Cut were approved unanimously by the Selectmen: a. Intent to Cut - Hall (2025 update to 2026) Map 2, Lots 53-1, 53-2 b. Intent to Cut - Bagley Pond Corp – Map 4, Lots 4,6. A discussion was held that the town’s legal counsel had advised that a separate agreement was not required for the logging to protect the Town roads, as this was provided for under RSA 231:21-a,ii and RSA 231:11. 3. Public Session – Regarding the upcoming public hearing on HB113 OHRV – Representative Riche Colcombe provided the Town with a draft form that could be used to take roll during the upcoming public hearing. A resident asked questions regarding the final bill. 4. Board Discussion a. Fischer – No updates. b. Brooks Property – Ms. Rose updated the Selectmen that per the Selectmen’s request, Southwest Region Planning Commission (SWRPC) was proceeding with the PFAS testing on the property, confirmed at no cost to the town. c. Ongoing business. The ongoing business of the Town was conducted including reviewing mail and email correspondence, discussing 2026 projects and priorities and signing check requests and checks as needed. 5.
