Meeting minutes 5-4-2026
The Commissioners approved accounts payable, payroll, and the April 6, 2026 minutes by a 3-0 vote. They reviewed the 2026 income and expenditure report and the Superintendent's Report. A claim will be submitted to Primex Insurance regarding lightning damage to the water tank's alarm system. For the upcoming Annual Meeting on May 6, 2026, the budget was reviewed. The Commissioners proposed increasing the Maintenance Line item from $40,000.00 to $55,000.00, a $15,000.00 increase, bringing the total budget to $1,327,309.00. The Recessed Annual Meeting is scheduled for May 6, 2026, at 6:30pm at Whipple Hall. The next Commissioners’ Meeting is set for June 8, 2026. NEW LONDON-SPRINGFIELD WATER SYSTEM PRECINCT Commissioners Monthly Meeting May 4, 2026 PRESENT: Richard Cross (Chairman), Kenneth Jacques (Commissioner), Peter Hoglund (Commissioner), Rob Thorp, (Superintendent), and Maggi Winn (Office Administrator). OTHERS PRESENT: Bebe Casey, John Ellis, Dave Hollinger. Date & Time: May 4, 2026, 4pm Chairman Cross opened the meeting at 4:02PM • Review and approve Accounts payable & payroll. Reviewed and signed. • Review of the Minutes 4/6/2026, Commissioner Jacques motioned to approve the meeting minutes. Commissioner Hoglund seconded the motion. Motion passed 3-0. • Review of the Income and expenditure report for 2026 to date, Reviewed. • Superintendent’s Report, Reviewed. The Commissioners requested a claim be submitted to Primex Insurance for lightning damage to the alarm/communication system at the water tank. The Commissioners reviewed the Budget and Warrant Articles for the upcoming May 6, 2026, Annual Meeting. The Commissioners discussed increasing the Maintenance Line by $15,000.00, Changing the line from $40,000.00 to $55,000.00.
