The Bennington Board of Selectmen met July 13, 2026 minutes. AP and Payroll manifests and CRF reimbursements were reviewed and signed. An abatement request for Map 2 Lot 6 was denied. The board discussed maintenance issues regarding rain diverters at the Fire Station and Town Hall, and an ice diverter at Town Hall. A certified letter will be sent to a Bible Hill Rd. resident regarding compliance with health and safety regulations. Selectmen noted Whittemore Lake beach maintenance was completed and the area is in good condition. The meeting adjourned at 6:15 pm. Bennington Board of Selectmen Monday — July 27, 2026 Selectmen’s Minutes — 6:00 pm Selectboard: Chairman, James Cleary, Travis McClure, Tony Parisi Others: Cathy McGillicuddy; Town Administrator, Deb Davidson Chairman Cleary called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm. Seconded by Selectman Parisi Appointments: There were no appointments scheduled Minutes: July 13, 2026 were accepted as written Financial: A/P & Payroll Manifests were reviewed and signed Signatures: CRF reimbursements were reviewed and signed Abatement — Map 2 Lot 6 - Denied Other: Rain Diverters — Fire Station, Town Hall Ice Diverter — Town Hall Bible Hill Rd. — A certified letter will be sent to the resident who needs to come into compliance with health and safety regulations. Whittemore Lake — Selectmen discussed the beach was raked again, and weed wacked. It looks really good, people are enjoying the lake this summer.
