The Selectboard discussed Alternative 2 Concept Design for the Town Office Building parking lot and driveways, featuring 22 parking spaces and a widened entrance/exit. The plan includes a driveway wide enough for fire trucks, ADA compliance spaces, and a grassed hatched area to permeate water runoff. Board members agreed to coordinate with NHDOT District 2 regarding the design and potentially contact NHDES after that discussion. The group plans to contact Dig Safe concerning the propane line and will relocate the mailbox. BETA representatives will provide a written summary of the concept design to Anna White, who will forward it to Selectboard member Charlie Smith in approximately two weeks to discuss next actions. 1 Selectboard Meeting Minutes from 9/4/2026 TOWN OF ORFORD Board of Selectmen Work Session Meeting Minutes September 4, 2026 Town Office Building 2529 Route 25A Orford NH 03777 MEMBERS PRESENT: Kevin Follensbee, Charles Smith, Jr. OTHERS PRESENT: Anna White-UVLSRPC, Stephen Borgotti-BETA, Jason Plourdo-BETA, all video remote via Teams Meeting Call Meeting to Order The meeting was called to order at 1:00 pm. The following was discussed regarding the parking lot and driveways at the Town Office building: Discussed Alternative 2 Concept Design Discuss with NHDOT District 2 involvement Possible contact with NHDES if needed after discussion with NHDOT 22 parking spaces Widen driveway for entrance and exit Discussed new driveway wide enough for fire truck ADA compliance space Contact dig safe for propane line from tank to building Relocate mailbox Hatched area to be grassed area to permeate water runoff from building roof BETA will send write up summary of concept design to Anna and Anna will forward to Charlie Smith in approximately 2 weeks to discuss the next action with the select board.
