The Selectmen approved a welfare request and signed a driveway permit for Clark & Maureen Houx on Hadley Road. Regarding technology, the town will add two new firewalls, with the highway and police departments scheduled for new computers. The Broadband Committee received bids from Charter Communications and Consolidated Communications to review on December 28, 2022, at 5:00pm. The 2023 Budget Hearing was scheduled for February 6, 2023, at 6:00pm at the Crapo Building. Mr. Bielefield moved to approve the December 5, 2022 minutes; seconded by Mr. Ellms, the motion passed unanimously. The board entered nonpublic session to discuss personnel and reputation matters under RSA 91-A:3, II. All three members—Ellms, Connors, and Bielefield—voted in favor. SELECTMEN’S MEETING– December 12, 2022

Correspondence was read and acted upon.
The board approved a welfare request.
MARGO asked to have a meeting set up with Senator Gendreau in the new year to let her know
what concerns the board may have this legislative year. Jennifer noted that Rep. Rochefort has
asked to come in and meet with the board as well.
NHMA Legal Counsel Natch Greyes has asked to use the downstairs for a meeting with local
officials and legislative personnel. The date will be February 2, 2023.
The board discussed the latest news on Northern Pass and the Governors recent Comments.
A driveway permit was signed for Clark & Maureen Houx Map 222, lot 24, Hadley Road.
Jennifer updated the board on her meeting with Certified Computers and Chief Ho-Sing-Loy.
The town will need to add two new firewalls. The highway department is on scheduled for a
new computer as is the Police Department.
The Broadband Committee received two bids from the RFP sent out. Charter Communications
and Consolidated Communications. The committee will review the proposals on December 28,
2022 at 5:00pm.
The board has scheduled the 2023 Budget Hearing for February 6, 2023 at 6:00pm at the Crapo
Building.
MR. BIELEFIELD made a motion to approve the minutes of December 5, 2022, seconded by
MR. ELLMS. The motion passed unanimously.
