The Alexandria Planning Board approved April 15, 2026 minutes unanimously. The subdivision application for Rachel Sinapi on Bog Road was approved for recreational use only. Board members upheld that no new lots will be created, keeping boundary lines unchanged, and the property will host four campsites with a septic system sized per site. No budget figures or dollar amounts were discussed. The public hearing regarding the subdivision was closed following the approval. Conservation Commission reported building seven bluebird houses with 17 community participants. ALEXANDRIA PLANNING BOARD 47 Washburn Road Phone 603-744-8986 Alexandria, NH 03222 Fax 603-744-9461 MEETING MINUTES Wednesday, May 20, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. CALL TO ORDER Chairman Alyssa Dunn called the meeting to order at 6:02 pm. Also present were members Harold Platts, Doug Sirotnak, Brian Reed, Bryan Richardson, Selectmen’s Representative Brian Lewis and Alternate Danielle Reed. A quorum was present. Also present was Mario Focareto. MINUTES April 15, 2026 Brian R. made a motion to accept the minutes as written; Harold seconded. All were in favor; none opposed. NEW BUSINESS PUBLIC HEARING FOR A SUBDIVISION APPLICATION FOR RACHEL SINAPI ON BOG ROAD, TAX MAP #418, LOT #54 (CONT’D) The public hearing was continued from the April 15, 2026 Planning Board meeting. The public hearing was opened. Mario went through the subdivision for Board members who were absent at last month’s meeting. No abutters were present. Mario reiterated there will be 4 campsites on the 8 acres of land. The plans won’t be recorded with the Grafton County Registry of Deeds due to the fact that no boundary lines will be changed and no new lots created. There will be a septic on site. An application has been submitted to DES regarding the wetlands crossing. Discussion ensued about the driveway into the property, which will service 4 campsites. Discussion ensued regarding maybe adding a restriction that limits the length of stay to meet the housing/dwelling issue in that there will be 4 housing/dwellings serviced off the one driveway. Mario indicated the driveway almost meets the Town requirement for a road. Mario added that the septic would need to be sized per site and not per bedroom. Danielle added that she believes the property owner will need to file with the State as a campground. Brian R. made a motion to approve the subdivision on the condition it is used for recreational purposes only; Alyssa seconded. All were in favor; none opposed. The public hearing was closed. COMMITTEE REPORTS CONSERVATION COMMISSION Doug reported that Conservation Commission built 7 bluebird houses to demonstrate to others how to build one. 17 people showed up to build the birdhouses with the Conservation Commission. There was a trash pick up event and a walk around at Morrison property event planned, but both were rained out. ADJOURNMENT Brian R. made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 6:45 pm; Bryan seconded.
