Selectmen Minutes 09-07-2023

The Selectmen accepted the August meeting minutes and signed vouchers. Regarding tax deeds, Selena Day owes $10,483.47 in back taxes and will receive a letter requesting her attendance at the next meeting. For the $1,174.55 owed on Roger Johnson’s Estate property, the board agreed Patsy Jordon will pay $400.00 monthly until paid in full. DES notified the board of an incomplete sludge spreading application and a received septic application for Map 6 Lot 21A. An intent to cut wood for Map 2 Lot 35-1 was signed. The Selectmen reviewed and signed the MS-1 prepared by Rod Wood. Patricia Ross’s letters to office members will be distributed upon request. Bill Briggs noted the State's September 28th flood plains conference in Lancaster, which he may notify Ron Briggs about. Attendance: William Briggs, Jason Eastman, Tricia Pitman and William Hilarides

Minutes to the August meeting accepted.
Vouchers were signed.

DES notified the Selectmen that an application to spread sludge had been received but that it
was incomplete.
DES notified the Selectmen that an application for a septic was received for Map 6 Lot 21A.
An intent to cut wood was signed by the Selectmen. The intent was for Map 2 Lot 35-1.
The Selectmen reviewed and signed the MS-1 that was prepared by Rod Wood.
Patricia Ross sent several letters to various office members. These letters will be given out to
the various members as people come to the town office.
Tax Deeds:
Selena Day now owes $10,483.47 for back taxes. A letter will be sent to her asking for her to
come to the next Selectmen’s meeting.
There is $1,174.55 back taxes owed on the property owned by Roger Johnson’s Estate. An
agreement between the Selectmen and Patsy Jordon was agreed upon. Ms. Jordon will pay
$400.00 per month until the taxes are paid in full.
Bill Briggs brought it to the boards attention that the State is hosting a conference on flood
plains on September 28th in Lancaster. He will notify Ron Briggs of the meeting and possibly
attend the meeting.
A ditch was put in by Dale McClure for Dave Stanfield. The ditch may be in the town’s right of
way.

A motion to adjourn was made and seconded.
