The Instructional Committee met on 6/1/26 with Angel Littlefield, Heidi Kremser, and Eric Bernow present. They decided to move to a competency-based report card for elementary students, starting in the 27-28 school year. Staff will work this summer and the next academic year to develop the system and integrate it into the new Alma student information system. An informational campaign for parents is scheduled for fall/winter 2026-27. Regarding Title I, the committee resolved to align the program with math to meet compliance requirements and complete the NHED Title I plan with updates. They plan to hire a Title I Coordinator for mathematics. For the upcoming School Board retreat on 6/11, the committee will prepare a handout covering updates on the AI Committee, the Curriculum Cycle, and a draft of professional development for the 26-27 school year.
