January 28, 2028 Work Session Minutes
The Selectboard approved prior meeting minutes 3-0. Selectmen designated Keith Nason and/or Jason Powers as liaisons for the Town of Bennington’s BRIC 24 grant Letter of Intent. Regarding the Town Report, Selectmen instructed the Town Administrator to make a minor change. The Town Administrator updated the board on the Primex insurance claim for the Sawyer Park stage; Primex will send a check for $11,627.21, less the $1,000 deductible. An additional depreciation amount will be paid upon completion of the stage rebuild and receipt submission, bringing the total claim payout to $14,236.82. Chairman Cleary signed the commitment with Plodzik & Sanderson for 2024 Auditing Services. The meeting adjourned at 6:00 pm for the Deliberative Session. Minutes: Chairman Cleary motioned to accept the minutes of January 13, 2025 Selectmen’s Meeting. Seconded by Selectmen Parisi & James. Motion passed 3-0 Motion by Chairman Cleary to accept the January 31, 2025 Budget Hearing Minutes as written. Seconded by Selectmen Parisi & James. Motion passed 3-0 Financial: Selectmen signed the weekly Payroll Manifest Work Session: Preparation for Deliberative Session took place. Other: e BRIC 24 Grant - Selectmen approved Keith Nason and/or Jason Powers being the liason for Town of Bennington’s BRIC 24 grant Letter of Intent (LOI) e Town Report — Discussion regarding one of the submitted reports followed. Selectmen instructed the Town Administrator to make a minor change to the report. e Primex—The Town Administrator up-dated Selectmen on the insurance claim for the stage at Sawyer Park. Primex has done their adjustment for a rebuild. Primex will send a check for $11,627.21 less the $1,000.00 deductible.
