We you know, all these different places. We you know, all these different places. We might have to might have to might have to uh, reach out to seven different people uh, reach out to seven different people uh, reach out to seven different people uh, different places to to be like, you uh, different places to to be like, you uh, different places to to be like, you know, can you help support this, can you know, can you help support this, can you know, can you help support this, can you help support this? help support this? help support this? Um, but we always get it and Um, but we always get it and Um, but we always get it and and it works. and it works. and it works. >> So, I'm assuming that what we got at 50 >> So, I'm assuming that what we got at 50 >> So, I'm assuming that what we got at 50 bucks is loaded, so that's not bucks is loaded, so that's not bucks is loaded, so that's not Some of this I'm trying to get out to Some of this I'm trying to get out to Some of this I'm trying to get out to the public as well is the public as well is the public as well is you might have some students that have you might have some students that have you might have some students that have just got a very specific small need that just got a very specific small need that just got a very specific small need that you can help with or students you can help with or students you can help with or students that take up a lot of your time and that take up a lot of your time and that take up a lot of your time and resources throughout the week. A way of saying that the saying that the saying that the that the 20% take up 80% of your time, that the 20% take up 80% of your time, that the 20% take up 80% of your time, right? So, yes, 100 110% that not all right? So, yes, 100 110% that not all right? So, yes, 100 110% that not all students and not all families have the students and not all families have the students and not all families have the same requirements and needs. same requirements and needs. same requirements and needs. Um but it is varying. Yeah. Um but it is varying. Yeah. Um but it is varying. Yeah. Sometimes they have more needs than Sometimes they have more needs than Sometimes they have more needs than others, but stabilizing and then others, but stabilizing and then others, but stabilizing and then implementing preventive supports for implementing preventive supports for implementing preventive supports for those particular students. those particular students. those particular students. >> Is there anything from our board with >> Is there anything from our board with >> Is there anything from our board with policies and procedures we have that you policies and procedures we have that you policies and procedures we have that you find find find helpful or not so helpful in the office helpful or not so helpful in the office helpful or not so helpful in the office setting setting setting as a chief boy as a chief boy as a chief boy or or or any kind of discipline through the any kind of discipline through the any kind of discipline through the federal or federal or federal or >> No, I I believe y'all have very probably >> No, I I believe y'all have very probably >> No, I I believe y'all have very probably supportive supportive supportive and really appreciate that. and really appreciate that. and really appreciate that. >> So, just to hit on a couple things. So, that case load for Hannah is So, that case load for Hannah is So, that case load for Hannah is exponentially going to get bigger. And exponentially going to get bigger. And exponentially going to get bigger. And as she said, she does work primarily at as she said, she does work primarily at as she said, she does work primarily at the elementary school but has, you know, the elementary school but has, you know, the elementary school but has, you know, a lot of kids in our cluster over at the a lot of kids in our cluster over at the a lot of kids in our cluster over at the middle school working with those middle school working with those middle school working with those families, obviously. families, obviously. families, obviously. There are a lot of needs, right, for There are a lot of needs, right, for There are a lot of needs, right, for some of the families she works with. And some of the families she works with. And some of the families she works with. And two words just keep coming to mind that two words just keep coming to mind that two words just keep coming to mind that without them we wouldn't have the without them we wouldn't have the without them we wouldn't have the success that we have with everything success that we have with everything success that we have with everything Hannah is doing, and that's Hannah is doing, and that's Hannah is doing, and that's trust and relationship, right? To inform trust and relationship, right? To inform trust and relationship, right? To inform a relationship that relationship is a relationship that relationship is a relationship that relationship is based on trust with with a lot of these based on trust with with a lot of these based on trust with with a lot of these families. Because a lot of these families. Because a lot of these families. Because a lot of these families have gone through school or families have gone through school or families have gone through school or managed systems and been burned by them managed systems and been burned by them managed systems and been burned by them and don't feel secure in them. And so, and don't feel secure in them. And so, and don't feel secure in them. And so, for Hannah to be able to make some of for Hannah to be able to make some of for Hannah to be able to make some of the inroads that she's really Uh, it's the inroads that she's really Uh, it's the inroads that she's really Uh, it's incredible sometimes. I can say this as incredible sometimes. I can say this as incredible sometimes. I can say this as an administrator, I can have a phone an administrator, I can have a phone an administrator, I can have a phone call, have a conversation with a parent call, have a conversation with a parent call, have a conversation with a parent and they go one way and then I can have and they go one way and then I can have and they go one way and then I can have a completely different conversation with a completely different conversation with a completely different conversation with that parent and say, "You need to give that parent and say, "You need to give that parent and say, "You need to give them 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, you them 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, you them 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, you call them back, they'll be okay and be call them back, they'll be okay and be call them back, they'll be okay and be able to talk to you, right?" Because able to talk to you, right?" Because able to talk to you, right?" Because that's that's that trusting relationship that's that's that trusting relationship that's that's that trusting relationship that they have with you. So, uh, we're that they have with you. So, uh, we're that they have with you. So, uh, we're really looking forward to to seeing what really looking forward to to seeing what really looking forward to to seeing what Yona has done but I in in in seeing Yona has done but I in in in seeing Yona has done but I in in in seeing where she's going because you keep where she's going because you keep where she's going because you keep adding new things and new things and adding new things and new things and adding new things and new things and more and more support to our family. more and more support to our family. more and more support to our family. Uh so, we met with the today and just Uh so, we met with the today and just Uh so, we met with the today and just looked at what they're looking to do. looked at what they're looking to do. looked at what they're looking to do. And if you folks have been on I think And if you folks have been on I think And if you folks have been on I think it's Route 4 going out towards it's Route 4 going out towards it's Route 4 going out towards Southbury, you notice there's a four-way Southbury, you notice there's a four-way Southbury, you notice there's a four-way stop sign as we have two-way stop signs stop sign as we have two-way stop signs stop sign as we have two-way stop signs at the country store up there. Let's do these studies, see how we can Let's do these studies, see how we can Let's do these studies, see how we can slow traffic down, and then does it make slow traffic down, and then does it make slow traffic down, and then does it make sense to even put four-way stop signs in sense to even put four-way stop signs in sense to even put four-way stop signs in and just change the the traffic pattern. and just change the the traffic pattern. and just change the the traffic pattern. Uh one of the reasons why they're Uh one of the reasons why they're Uh one of the reasons why they're talking about today not doing that talking about today not doing that talking about today not doing that initially or just temporarily is once initially or just temporarily is once initially or just temporarily is once you build a traffic pattern, you build a traffic pattern, you build a traffic pattern, they would get used to what they're they would get used to what they're they would get used to what they're doing and the traffic pattern shifts and doing and the traffic pattern shifts and doing and the traffic pattern shifts and it shifts again and you end up confusing it shifts again and you end up confusing it shifts again and you end up confusing people and it's creating more havoc than people and it's creating more havoc than people and it's creating more havoc than you want to create.
