The Heritage Commission approved July 16, 2026 minutes with a 5-0-0 vote. They reviewed successful 250th anniversary events, including the Darrah Pond celebration, Powwow, and Passaconaway artwork. Conservation Commission installed QR codes for historic building information and cleared vegetation at the Muster Field. The Commission agreed to email Superintendent O’Connell and Principal Dan Mitchell to restore Historical Society school field trips. An ongoing gravestone preservation project continues at the old Presbyterian Church cemetery, with future plans for Pinecrest and Hillcrest. For the Passaconaway historic marker, the Commission will send a letter to private property owners to discuss placement, as prior locations were declined. If unsuccessful, they may use Town-owned property at Moore’s Falls. Thanks were extended to Jody Fraser and George Lavash for graveyard cleanup. The Heritage Commission approved June 18, 2026 meeting minutes via a (3-0-0) vote (D. Plansky/S. Calawa). The Commission confirmed the 250th Celebration is set for July 25–26, 2026. Regarding the Passaconaway Marker, the previously approved site was rejected by the property owner; Dianne Plansky identified a new location and will meet the owner. Once finalized, the Commission will apply for state approval, requiring a Selectmen’s letter confirming no traffic concerns. Ms. Colby stated a draft response to Noel's Tree Farm regarding Industrial Drive extension concerns would be prepared for review. No engineering plans or decisions have been made regarding the Circumferential Highway land. Commission meetings occur monthly on the third Thursday at 6:00 p.m. Adjourment motion passed unanimously at 6:24 p.m.

The Planning Board unanimously approved the site plan amendment for Corning Farm at River’s Edge (Tax Map 22 Lot 14), relocating the sidewalk along Route 3A. Reggie Moreau stated construction aims to begin immediately and conclude before winter, pending DOT and utility clearances. The Board voted 6-0-0 to approve the Pelletier Farms Fall Fest for October 10, with a rain date of October 17. The Board recommended Ralph Boehm to the Select Board for alternate membership on the Planning Board via a 5-0-1 vote; John Brunelle abstained. The Board entered a work session to discuss economic development and state law changes regarding multifamily housing in commercial zones. No budget items were finalized. The next meeting is scheduled for October 6, 2026.

The Planning Board unanimously voted 6-0 to forward Sean Flynn’s application for a full member position to the Select Board. They also voted 6-0 to adopt the amended Chapter III (Natural Resources) of the Master Plan. Regarding Low Impact Development regulations, the Board voted 6-0 to adopt proposed amendments while rejecting the reduction of minimum road width from 24 feet to 20 feet; other changes affect underground utilities, office parking, and stormwater. Dianne Plansky reported the Town is over the tax cap, citing a new ambulance service contract approximately 200% higher than the previous one. The next meeting is scheduled for September 15, 2026. The Board also canceled the July 21 and August 4 meetings.

The Litchfield Select Board approved consent items including payroll totaling $150,641.07 and accounts payable of $184,305.90. They authorized the Chair, Fire Chief, and Town Administrator to sign a housekeeping update to the Ambulance and Dispatch contract with Londonderry. Sean Flynn was appointed as a full member of the Planning Board. The Board approved reimbursements of $757.64 to Darcy and a $250 refund to Noel’s Tree Farm from the 250th Committee funds. A Resource Fair was scheduled for January 23, 2027. The Board released the permitting restriction for the Litchfield Estates bond and authorized the Chair to sign documents for the Moore’s Falls sidewalk project and driveway permit. For the 2027 budget, the Board reduced the General Building Maintenance line by $4,710 to stay under the cap and forwarded the proposed budget to the Budget Committee for review on September 21.
