Selectmen Dick Fortin and John Schmerfeld signed accounts payable totaling $108,603.92. They unanimously approved minutes from March 10, 2026. Regarding appointments, the Board voted unanimously to appoint Kevin Conklin and Greg Grinnell as regular Planning Board members and Stephanie Mathurin as an alternate for three-year terms. They also unanimously appointed Stephen Larson and Megan Hoffer as regular Zoning Board of Adjustment members and Joel Wasserman as an alternate for three years. Board assignments were set, with Schmerfeld to the Conservation Commission and Fortin to the Lower MWV Solid Waste District. The Board authorized the Tax Map update process to proceed. A work session to review Procurement and Conflict of Interest Policies was scheduled for March 31. The Board requested a cost estimate for the cemetery maintenance project, expected to be under $10,000, rather than a formal RFP. They will also request that Eversource review the current light inventory regarding LED streetlight feasibility.

The Board of Selectmen approved 15 accounts payable checks totaling $13,610.61 and adopted the January 28, 2026 minutes unanimously. They appointed Kenneth Cargill as a Zoning Board of Adjustment Alternate for a 3-year term via unanimous vote. A building permit for a temporary handicap ramp at 2878 Eaton Road was approved as Permit #202502. The State issued a Quarter 3 Highway Block Grant payment of $9,025.49. The Board amended the operating budget to cover Town Hall painting and pressure washing costs and reviewed the proposed Warrant. A Conservation Conversation regarding the Wetland Ordinance amendment is scheduled for February 17 at 6:30 pm. The quarterly Safety Committee meeting is set for March 10 at 12 noon. A letter regarding the Ridge Road culvert inspection will be drafted, and maintenance will occur in the summer. The Planning Board will draft a Noise Ordinance for next year’s Town Meeting. Eversource will attend the April 7 meeting.
