Planning Board Meeting
The Gorham Planning Board meeting scheduled for June 18, 2026, was cancelled due to a lack of quorum. Vice Chair Abby Ivanko, acting in the absence of Chairman Paul Robatile, stated that only three board members were present, which is insufficient to conduct business as a quorum requires four members. Absences included Bob Gargano due to a conflict, and Tim Murphy and Eric Ryder who were out of state. No decisions, votes, budget items, or appointments were made. The next scheduled meeting is set for the third Thursday of July, which is July 16th, 2026. SPEAKER_2 requested public comment be placed before member elections at future meetings. A quorum for the planning board is for people. I'm waiting for one more board member to show up. I'm not expecting one at this point because Chairman Paul Robatile had another meeting. That's why I'm chairing. Bob Gargano has a conflict. I think both Tim Murphy and Eric Ryder are out of state on business. And so that leads the three of us and we cannot conduct business without a quorum. So I apologize to the people who came to participate. Thank you. Is this meeting get pushed back a month? Well, by law, the planning board is supposed to meet at least once a month, every month. And so we meet the third Thursday of every month. That's our standard. And so our next meeting will be the third Thursday of July, which is, wow, that's early. How can that be? That really? Okay, so we think it's July 16th if that's a Thursday. Oh yeah, here it is, July 16th. On the... This month. and then have the next meeting at the next schedule. Yes. Yes. Would it be possible to put public comment before, like at the beginning of the meeting, before the piece of election of members goes forward? So, right now, we don't have a meeting, so I'm not speaking, I'm not speaking officially. Okay. Sorry about that. But, but that seems to be, I'm not running that meeting as far as I know, but that seems to be a regional request when we get to that meeting. Megan, how would I make that request to me?
