The Notes Policy Committee met July 16, 2026, with Chair Rob Wargo presiding. The committee approved minutes from the June 9, 2026 meeting. Several policies were moved to the board for first read via unanimous votes: DDG (6-0-0), EEAB (6-0-0), EH (4-0-0), GBEC (4-0-0), and GBCAH (6-0-0). Policy EH-R was tabled (4-0-0) for legal consultation regarding definitions of "persons" and "citizens." Policies IC and IHBA were tabled (3-0-0 each) for further review. Policies advanced with votes of 3-0-0 included IGE (pending attorney review), IHAM, and IK (with specific wording changes). The committee unanimously rescinded policies BG, BGA, BGB, BGE, and BGF. The next meeting is scheduled for August 11, 2026. Future discussions will include field trip policy IJOA and items from the previous superintendent's folder. The meeting adjourned at 12:20 PM. DDG Grant Application and Acceptance of Grants presented by Kate O’Connor i. Kate will prepare procedures to be added to the guidebook ii. Motion made by Nikki Murphy to move proposed Policy DDG to the board for first read iii. Seconded by Shannon Martin iv. All in favor 6-0-0 b. EEAB Establishment of School Bus Routes presented by Kate O’Connor and Caleb Godwin i. Discussion around grammatical errors and BAAA. Because BAAA is written in policy we will strike BAAA on header. ii. Motion made by Nikki Murphy to move proposed Policy EEAB to the board for first read with changes iii. Seconded by Shannon Martin iv. All in favor 6-0-0 c. EH Public Access to School District Records i. Discussion around adding the word citizen to EH ii. Nikki Murphy stated this should be discussed also with legal iii. Motion made by Shannon Martin to move proposed Policy EH to the board for first read with changes iv. Seconded by Nikki Murphy v. EH-R Administrative Procedures for Responding to RSA 91A i. request legal definition of persons (corporations, associations authorized by laws or territories of US) or citizens ii.
