The Select Board appointed Tammi Dube to the vacant Trustee of Trust Funds position. Eric Demers motioned, Joshua Ewalt seconded, and votes were cast by Ewalt, Doherty, Demers, and Campbell. Gary Dube recused himself. regarding the safe, the board will request three quotes for digitizing records and authorized purchasing a smaller fire-rated safe for physical storage. Eric and Ashley Demers received board approval to bait bear on town property via a motion by Joshua Ewalt, seconded by Gary Dube. Eric Demers recused himself; all others voted in favor, and the permit was signed. Tammi Dube will collect information regarding the SMTT discovery request for Kelly Brook Road, and the town's lawyer will be contacted. Town of Dummer Select Board Meeting Minutes July 7, 2026 at 6:15 pm In Attendance: Gary Dube, Eric Demers, Joshua Ewalt, Katie Doherty, Ruth Campbell, Tammi Dube Call to Order: Chairman Dube called the meeting to order at 6:15 pm. Pledge of Allegiance: All present stood and recited the Pledge of Allegiance. Review/Discuss/Sign: Invoices and Checks Scheduled Visitors, Katie Doherty & Ruth Campbell, 6:45 e Katie and Ruth attended the meeting to discuss the quote received for painting the library building. They will obtain a couple more quotes. e There was also discussion about the damp basement and what can be done about it. Old Business e Safe Door: The board will request that Judy get three quotes for digitizing everything in the safe room. A smaller fire-rated safe (like a gun safe or file cabinet) will be purchased to store what must be physically kept. New Business e Trustee of Trust Funds: Due to lack of interest in the position, Eric Demers made a motion to appoint Tammi Dube to serve as a Trustee of the Trust Funds. Joshua Ewalt seconded. Gary Dube recused himself from the vote. All voted in favor. e Reconciliation of Bank Accounts: The board reviewed and signed the Bank Account Reconciliations. e Baiting on Town Property: Eric and Ashley Demers requested permission to bait bear on town property. Joshua Ewalt made a motion to approve the bait site. Gary Dube seconded. Eric Demers recused himself from the decision. All voted in favor. The board signed the bear bait permit. e Discovery Request, SMTT: The board reviewed the Discovery Request from SMTT regarding Kelly Brook Road. Tammi Dube will work on collecting information and the town’s lawyer will be contacted. e The board made a phone call to a citizen concerned about taxes and plowing. There was no answer and the board left a message. Chairman Dube announced that the minutes stand approved and the approved minutes were signed. Chair Declares Meeting Adjourned: There being no further business to come before the board, Chairman Dube declared the July 7, 2026 Select Board meeting adjourned at 8:15 pm.
