The Tuftonboro Conservation Commission met on September 21, 2026, to review minutes from August 17, 2026, and discuss the Commission Chair status. Greg D. provided an update on the Home Water Testing event, and Mark M. gave an NHACC update. They noted the date change for "The State of Our Lake" event at the Wolfeboro Library to October 22nd. The Commission reviewed the status of two Wetland Permits for 265 Cow Island and Windswept Island. Larry reported on the status of the $100,000 forgivable loan for the ML Watershed Plan, while the Carleton lot project is on hold. For trails, the Commission plans to create and post signs for Parkhurst/Chandler per the owner’s request and plan a work day for Great Meadow North. The next meeting is scheduled for October 19, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. The meeting adjourned to a Non-Public Session.
