Conservation Commission Agenda
The Lee Conservation Commission appointed Catherine Fisher as a new full member. They allowed a camp scholarship recipient to report on their experience. The commissioners approved minutes from the August 18, 2026 meeting. The agenda included reviewing the treasurer's report and budget. Members discussed ongoing projects including the Town Lands Conservation Easement Stewardship, Old Mill invasive species work with NRCS, LRP invasive work and the LRAC Grant, and herbicide treatment at the Town Orchard/LRP. They reviewed site walk outcomes for the fence at Wheelwright Pond and discussed a hunting/no hunting list for town properties. Other topics included trails work, easement monitoring updates with DHF, and a ZBA pond request. In new business, the commission met with SELT regarding the Banks Easement proposal, developed a community outreach plan, and established a timeline for the warrant article.
