Board of Selectmen Non-Public Meeting Minutes Session 1
The Thornton Board of Selectmen held a Non-Public Session on August 5, 2026, at 6:59 p.m. Present were Chairman Peter Laufenberg, Vice-Chair Steven Babin, Selectwoman Marianne Peabody, and Selectman Matt Peltier. Selectman Brad Benton was absent. Town Administrator Desiree Mahurin also attended. The board met pursuant to RSA 91-A:5 (IX) to review and sign additional Cyber Security procedures. The board unanimously voted 4–0 to approve and sign the additional Cyber Security Plan & Disaster Recovery procedure. The meeting adjourned at 7:01 p.m. following a 4–0 vote to exit the non-public session. No dollar amounts, budget items, or public-hearing outcomes were discussed.
