The committee approved the Extra Activity Contract for the 21st CCLC Program Assistant Site Coordinator and the Full-Time 21st CCLC Program Site Coordinator for the Laconia Middle & High School. The committee agreed to replace Policy JLCJ regarding concussions with the NHSBA sample updates and send it to the full School Board for a 1st Read at the August 4, 2026 meeting. Policy EBBB will be reviewed against the NHSBA sample and brought to the next Policy meeting. The committee held reviews on policies regarding school property disposal and high school credit earning pending related policy reviews. The committee agreed to slight revisions to Section B of policy JJJ and will review policy JG against the NHSBA sample. Policy JJJ-R revisions were approved for sections B, C4, and C6, while policy JJIC will be sent to the District Attorney for feedback. Office of Extended Learning Job Descriptions ● The committee reviewed two draft job descriptions for the OEL. ● The committee agreed to approve the Extra Activity Contract for 21st CCLC Program Assistant Site Coordinator and the Full-Time 21st CCLC Program Site Coordinator Laconia Middle & High School. 2. Policy JLCJ- Concussions and Head Injuries ● The committee reviewed the current Laconia policy and NHSBA sample policy. ● The committee agreed to strike out the old policy and replace it with the updates offered in the NHSBA sample. ● Section A2 references policy EBBB- Accident Reports. Laconia’s policy will be reviewed to the NHSBA sample to see if there are any needed updates/revisions since the last revisions in 2021 and brought to the next Policy meeting for review. ● The committee agreed that this policy can move forward to the full School Board for a 1st Read at the August 4, 2026 meeting. 3. DNA - Disposition of School Property&DNA-P- SchoolProperty Disposal ● The committee agreed to hold on the review of these policies as the Budget & Personnel Committee will be doing a review of the Fiscal Management Section of the Laconia Policies to provide feedback on any needed revisions. 4. IK - Earning of High School Credit: Achievement of Competencies ● The policy is on hold until related policies are reviewed ○ JJJ: Access to Public School Programs by Nonpublic, Charter School and Home Educated Pupils ■ The committee reviewed the NHSBA sample policy. Laconia does not currently have this policy. The completed draft will be provided at the next Policy meeting for review. ○ JJJ-R: Access to Public School Programs by Nonpublic, Charter School and Home Educated Pupils- Administrative Regulations ■ The committee reviewed the NHSABA sample policy. Laconia does not currently have this policy. ■ The committee agreed to the recommended revisions to section B, C4 and C6. ■ Laconia’s policy IJNC-P will be reviewed at the next Policy meeting to address questions in section C4 by the committee. ■ The committee agreed to hold on to this revised policy until all related policies are reviewed. The completed draft will be provided at the next Policy meeting for review. ○ JJIC: Eligibility for Interscholastic Athletics ■ The committee agreed to send to the District Attorney for feedback on this policy as suggested in the NHSBA sample policy and will review at the next Policy meeting.
