The Conservation Commission met September 8, 2026. Financial totals showed $2,852.00 paid and $1,629.88 pending. Tracy Donovan-Laviolette and Kate Buzard approved reimbursing John Mullen $168.00 for E. Coli testing at Eurofins. Kate moved to place the Tanglewood Watershed Protection Area Committee on hiatus pending Selectmen or Commission review; Tracy seconded and the motion passed unanimously. NHDES reviewed an incomplete trails permit for SPNHF and a standard dredge and fill permit for Darren Wilder. The Native Plants Trust declined surveying Town Forest property due to the season; Kate will contact them regarding protocols for future requests. The next meeting is October 13, 2026. Kate will email the Selectmen regarding status of Laptop Tanglewood Watershed Protection Area Committee: Kate made a motion to place the Tanglewood Watershed Protection Area Committee on hiatus, with all committee activity suspended, until or if such time the board of Selectmen or the Conservation Commission determines that the committee should reconvene. Tracy seconded and the motion passed unanimously approved. However, if you would still like to discuss our request, it may also be helpful to establish a general protocol for future survey requests, as additional surveys may come up on your properties in the future. Kate will contact to see what protocol would entail. Kate reported that historically there have been four species reported in Middleton, September 2, 1994 J.
