The Milton Conservation Commission met on September 2, 2026. Marilyn was appointed to take minutes. The commission approved eight upcoming actions and monitoring tasks. Monitoring plans were confirmed for 2026 on Fee properties including Casey Road Conservation Land, Jones Brook Park, Spaulding Turnpike, Dames Brook, Old Ski Area, and Ball Property. Abutter notification for Dames Brook monitoring was approved, scheduled for September 12. Monitoring reports for the Frizzell, Silver Springs, and Lyman Brook easements were reviewed. The commission considered an expedited DES Wetland Permit application for a new Stiles driveway on Map 43/Lot 27-3. Upcoming events include "Don't Trash Milton" on September 19.
