Roy Sorenson stated the Town Budget for FY28 is due to the Budget Committee on 10/7/26. Dan Moulis stated the School District Budget for FY28 is due on 10/8/2026. Discussions covered health insurance consulting bids, meal pricing, and HB 564 regarding warrant article creation. Member Cole moved to add Legislative Update to the September agenda, seconded by Member Walsh; the motion failed. Member Jasper raised a point of order regarding a lawsuit, but no ruling was issued. The next meeting is September 2, 2026. Member Jasper moved to adjourn at 9:13 PM, seconded by Member Walsh; the motion carried. Motions:
Motion by Member Cole to add Legislative Update as an ongoing item on
the agenda to begin at the Sep 2026 meeting. Seconded by Member Walsh.
Motion failed.
Points of Order:
Member Jasper raised a Point of Order regarding the relevance of the line
of questioning regarding the lawsuit between the Dover School District
and School Care. Member Cole withdrew the questioning; no ruling was
issued by the Chair.
