May 21, 2025 Haverhill Corner Precinct Meeting Minutes
The Haverhill Corner Precinct approved the agenda and prior meeting minutes, with votes unanimous. Speed sign installation was approved at the state-approved location, with intent to move it south later pending DOT approval. The Treasurer's report showed Water Account funds of $29,623.08, Building Account $133,717.54, and other accounts totaling $33,281.54. Commissioners signed the release of lien for Eugene Bellis and issued building permits for Aguilera-Fish. Mike Lavoie will oversee logging near transmission lines to identify and protect water lines. Precinct of Haverhill Corner PO Box 11 603.989.5655 Haverhill, NH 03765 office@haverhillcornernh.com Haverhill Corner Precinct Meeting Agenda May 21, 2025 Called to order at 7:00 PM Attendance: Doug Dutile, Albie Estes, Mike Lavoie, Barb Dutile and Mary Ann Rood Public Appearance: Jack and Lindsey Hubbard Approve Agenda: Mike Lavoie added, under new business, (e) logging under the transmission line near the water line. Motion to approve by Doug Dutile with new addition. Second by Mike Lavoie – all in favor Approve Prior meeting minutes: Motion to approve by Mike Lavoie. Second by Albie Estes – all in favor Approve Manifest: Reviewed by commissioners and signed Old Business Speed Signs: Doug Dutile stated that the state has been here twice to approve this. We have a sign post and we will place it where the DOT approved it. Doug also stated that we have a solar sign ready to installed, which is on loan from the Chief of Police. We will test it out and see if it works for us. Lindsey Hubbard asked if it is a white speed sign with the light attached. Doug said that by law it has to have the speed sign attached. Lindsey asked if it can be moved further south. She is concerned that once it is posted, it will be harder to move it to a new location. Lindsey thinks it would be better for the precinct if it was placed further south at the town line. Discussion. Mike Lavoie discussed the fact that the signs need to be attached to 35 mile per hour be sign.
