Selectmen's Meeting Minutes

Selectmen viewed a parsonage site for proposed subdivision plans. SPEAKER_0 and SPEAKER_1 discussed lot line placement relative to a tree, balancing SPEAKER_5's septic needs against the Historical Society's parking lot plans. SPEAKER_2 contacted SPEAKER_6 for expert opinion, pausing the meeting until his arrival. Upon SPEAKER_6's consultation, a compromise was established: the lot line between the parsonage and church starts at the stone near a roadside tree, runs back to a 10-inch maple in the woods, then goes at a right angle to the stone wall. This decision is contingent upon the Historical Society placing a parking lot on the church property. No formal votes were recorded. Ed called the meeting to order at 8:58 am

This is a site visit at the parsonage to review the proposed subdivision plans. Scott explained the
subdivision. There was also discussion regarding the history of the deeds, mentioning the church not
being part of the land.
Andrew wants the lot line to be 10 feet below the tree. Historical Society wants it above. They discussed
the lot line interfering with the Historical Society's plan for a parking lot versus Andrew’s placement of a
septic for the parsonage. After some discussion regarding the septic vs parking lot placements, Dianne
called Bob Senter to invite him to the meeting so they could get his opinion on the matter.
The meeting was paused at 9:29 am to wait for Bob.
Bob arrived, and the meeting was reconvened at 9:35 am
After consulting with Bob regarding the lot lines and septic vs parking lot, a compromise was made to
have the line between the parsonage and the church start at the stone next to the tree near the road,
back to the 10-inch maple in the woods, then a right angle to the stone wall. With the contingency that
the Historical Society will be able to place a parking lot on the church property.

Ed motioned to adjourn. Steve seconded. Leif agreed. Meeting adjourned at 10 am.
