Planning Board Meeting Agenda

The Newport Planning Board met August 26, 2026. Board members reviewed July 22, 2026 minutes. New business included discussing guidelines for the development of a Capital Improvements Program (CIP) for the town. The board reviewed revised site plan and subdivision applications. Regarding continued business, Mr. Josephson will present on the Master Plan at the next meeting, and the board will discuss the public hearing on Master Plan adoption scheduled for October. Administratively, a joint land use board meeting involving Conservation, Heritage, ZBA and Planning will be held with the Board of Selectmen on September 30, 2026 at 6PM at the LaValley Family Community Center. The next regular Planning Board meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2026.
