September 1, 2026 Horse Hill Nature Preserve Subcommittee Agenda
The Horse Hill Nature Preserve Subcommittee convened on September 1, 2026. No new business was conducted. Minutes from the June 9, 2026 meeting were up for approval. Regarding infrastructure updates, the subcommittee discussed the Blodgett Bridge and Watson Bridge finishing touches. For the Lastowka Pond boardwalk, the group evaluated options to remove, repair, or replace the structure to determine the path forward. Administrative tasks included Ms. Berger following up on minor work needed for two Quarry Trail boardwalks, and Ms. Kolb confirming with the Merrimack Conservation Commission (MCC) who is responsible for updating the outdated website. Ms. Kolb noted the Nashua Regional Planning Commission (NRPC) possesses the most recent map files to address the faded kiosk maps.
