Conservation Commission Agenda
The Amherst Conservation Commission agenda for December 10 covered administrative business and several special topics. The treasurer’s report and November 12 minutes were up for review. DPW Water Quality Management’s Craig Durrett presented, while Sam Foisie discussed the Jacobson Farm on Christian Hill Rd. This included a Conditional Use Permit expansion for sidewalk buffer impacts, Open Space easement details, and the Paddock Exhibit regarding access and restrictions. Topics also covered HOA rules on chemicals and fertilizer and farm management. John O’Neill presented a conceptual plan for gravel pit development at Bon Terrain. Other business items included a warrant article for land acquisition and winter planning. The meeting concluded with a non-public session per RSA 91-A:3 to discuss property acquisition, sale, or lease matters where public discussion could benefit parties with interests adverse to the community.
