The Derry Conservation Commission meeting agenda for January 12, 2026, was called to order. The Commission approved the minutes from the December 15, 2025 meeting. Committee updates were provided by members: Jay Hildreth on the Community Garden, Rick Metts on Personnel and the TRC (Trails and Recreation Committee), Cheryl Holbert on Public Outreach, Eileen Chabot on State Compliance, Robert Spoerl on Property Maintenance, Riccardo Buzzanga on Land Acquisition, and Val Connolly on Reporting Compliance and the Net Zero Task Force. The Chair, Land Manager, and Council Liaison also delivered reports. The agenda included updates on other conservation activities and other business. The session concluded with a motion to convene a Nonpublic Meeting in compliance with RSA 91 A:3, Section II for matters not subject to the public meeting definition, before adjournment. A Motion to do so will be made in Public Session and the Motion will cite the applicable subsection of the law. Further, compliance with RSA 91 A:3, Section I, the Conservation Commission may recess a Public Meeting for a period of time in order to excuse itself for the purpose of discussing matter not subject to the definition of the meeting.
