Commissioners Hebb and McKee met with Acting Clerk Hebb. Audit reports were reviewed and filed. They voted to send the Permit to Operate to DES and plan to add six lines for unused connections at the O’Donnell barn, West Cemetery, and other locations. The lawyer is reviewing bylaws and regulations for discussion in January, with Jane adding $1,000 to the 2025 budget for legal fees. The budget hearing is set for 3/12/25, and the annual meeting for 4/1/25. Votes were taken to pay the chlorinator repair bill, and to pay Granite State Rural Water $200 total, covering $135 annual dues and a $65 donation. Reported expenses include a $100 monthly increase for Gilford Well. Meters will be read the week of 12/16 depending on weather. HAY AL} Ag Those present: Allan Hebb and William McKee Commissioners, Jane Hebb, Acting Clerk and Treasurer The monthly meeting started at 7:00 PM. The minutes of the November monthly meetings were read and approved. We received 2 copies of the audit report. It was reviewed and filed. Jane asked Granite State Rural Water about their ideas on phone converge for the pumps since the phone bill is so high. They suggested she call the phone to company to make sure we are not being charged a business rate. There should be a municipal rate. We are not required to have a phone. Some water companies do not have one. No money has been put in the budget yet. Jane will call them this month. The Permit to Operate for this year has been sent to DES. When Jane talked to DES about the 51 number of users on the permit to operate, she said this could be increased because the documentation when the new system was done proved that there was enough water for more users. We need to add 6 more lines to the permit to operate to cover the connections on the main line that are not being used at the present time. They are 2 connections for the O’Donnell barn, Jeffrey Hebb, West Cemetery, and 2 that are disconnected, Stimson and the white house at the Pastures. Granite State Rural Water also suggested that we add a commercial hook up rate to our Rules and Regulations. The budget hearing will be 3/12/25. Jane and Allan are gone for the regular March meeting. The second Tuesday is Town Meeting. The annual meeting will be 4/1/25 The bylaws, rules and regulations and application form were sent to the lawyer to review. We should have them to discuss at the January meeting. Jane will add $1000.00 to the 2025 budget to cover this. It was voted to pay the chlorinator repair bill. The budget was discussed. Bill will check the testing to make sure Gilford Well has given us the correct amount. Gilford Well’s monthly fee went up $100 per month. We will finalize the budget at the January meeting. The commissioners voted to pay the $135.00 annual dues to Granite State Rural Water and give them a donation of $65.00. The check will be for $200.00. Jane reported that David told her and Allan after a planning board meeting in November that Mr. Castel has changed his development to be 3 house lots which he will sell.
